Kendra’s Free Stuff: CVS and Food Lion- You gotta read my stories!
Yay! I feel so blessed! I was able to get some things that I needed, and some things that I could use, for FREE!! You still have a day to do this, so go get ‘em! I have to give a big thanks to Candace for her head’s up on the Food Lion coupon links! Thanks so much for that. Okay, here is what I got:

My CVS Trip
(x4) CoverGirl Makeup
On sale B1G1 (reg. $5.49 each)
Used (2) B1G1 coupons from 4/6 P&G coupon insert
Used $2/1 coupon from reinventing beauty mag. (will explain this in a min.)
FREE plus $2 overage!
1 gallon of milk
I needed this!

$1.69
Reinventing Beauty Magazine
I got it for the coupons inside

Okay, so as these were ringing up, the cashier asks me if I want to use the $2 off CoverGirl coupon that is in the magazine I’m also purchasing. I said, “Well, it probably won’t work. I’m already getting the makeup for free.” She said, “Well, it might work. Sometimes the system is a little funny.” So I told her to give it a shot, and what do ya know, it worked!! Yay. So, I made $2 for buying that $.99 mag, plus all of the other coupons inside. That was a great surprise!

This was so funny. Okay, so as the cashier was ringing me up she asked me where I got these coupons. She said that a lady came in earlier with a bunch and got $20 worth of stuff for $2. She was very impressed with that. I hoped I did as well. So, after she rung me up my total came to: -$.74. She owed me!! Her mouth dropped. She couldn’t figure out how that could be possible. As she consulted another cashier, I turned around and scanned the candy section behind me. I found the two candy bars for $.79 so I added them. My total then came to: $.07. She could not believe my savings!! The young girl in line behind me kept saying, “I can’t believe you got all that for seven cents!” I was very pleased. As I was loading my bags in the car a woman drove up beside me and said, “Ma’am, I’m sorry, but my daughter told me that I just have to ask you how you did that!” I smiled, and told her about A Full Cup and how to print these coupons. It felt good being able to share this with others! I laughed as I got back into the car. That was fun! I’m going back tomorrow!
