My Great Find At Goodwill!!
June 4th, 2008 | By KendraOkay, so I went to Goodwill today, hoping to find a nice suitcase to take with us on our trip. I know, I know, a little last minute; so I’m a procrastinator! Anyways, I couldn’t find one to borrow from anybody; I had to buy one. As I got ready to leave the house this morning I prayed that I would find what I needed. I really wanted a nice, big, black, rolling suitcase. That’s what I had in mind. When I got to Goodwill I looked all over the place for luggage, but I couldn’t find a single thing. I decided they must not have any, and just as I was heading for the door I spotted something out of the corner of my eye. There it was, basking in all it’s glory! I quickly made my way to the beautiful black suitcase, semi-hidden underneath a clothes rack. It was tall, dark and handsome! Exactly what I had been searching for! And for the incredible price of… $8.00!
But wait, it gets better! As I opened it up to make sure that the zippers worked fine, and it didn’t have a funny smell, I made a discovery. He had a younger brother!
So, I got both of these gorgeous suitcases for eight bucks. Can’t beat that!! I praised God as I left the store, skipping all the way to the van with my new luggage strolling behind me!

I just had a similar experience. We are planning a two-week vacation in CA. I did not have enough luggage for my family. I went Goodwill and found four great pieces for a total of $33.

A local store only offers double coupons on a once a month basis but it always seems like God puts the things I need on sale and I have coupons for them so it turns into a triple play of blessings!
