I’ll give you a head start on next week’s Minimizing Monday… you might need it! We’re going to be talking about minimizing our magazines. You know, all of those stacks of free magazines that you’ve been stashing somewhere in your home, thinking that you will read them one day. Well, it’s time to really go through them and get rid of the piles! This may take a few days of sitting down every now and then to really go through each magazine, and tear out only what you want to keep. We will talk about what to do with your “keepers” on Monday. Wow! What a timing you have - this past week I’ve been going through my magazines. I only have quilty ones. So with a post-it I marked all the quilts I want to do - not all the quilts I like.
Today I counted where the magazines were going. 14 of them I’ll give away/give at the guild meetings, 23 of them I marked for their patterns (and already made one quilt from them this week) and 6 of them I’m keeping for the articles on free-motioning or such.

Kendra I was SO just trying to do this with my magazines! And they just keep coming. Also, I had checked in a couple of time this past week and wondered why you hadn’t posted. I read your previous post and I am so sorry to hear about your little guy being so sick! I will pray he gets better very soon. I can’t imagine having to take care of a sick little one
AND having to try to work on a house to get move in ready too! YIKES! I will keep your family in my prayers. Praises for hubby’s job too. He will have NEW ministry now. Who knows where God will lead? I enjoy reading your blog and check in often.
