This charming heart wreath is perfect for Valentine’s Day, and it comes together quickly and easily using nothing more than cardstock and a hot glue gun!

Choose your favorite pink and red papers – my red print here is from the Crimson Elegance Paper Pack; the pink papers are from Lovely Day and Little Ballerina – and print them out on to medium to heavy weight cardstock. Flip the cardstock over and print the back side with a complementary paper.

Cut your cardstock into 1″ wide strips, 10″ long (it’s especially helpful if you have a paper cutter to help with this part!). You’ll need about 35 strips to create a wreath that is 18″ in diameter. Fold each strip in half with a hard crease. Using a low temperature glue gun, add a small drop of glue to the outside end of the strip, bending the other end in to form a heart shape.

To assist in the layout of my wreath, I traced the outline of a large plate on to a sheet of paper and used that circle as a guide. Starting with the outer ring, lay out your hearts into a large circle, and glue the hearts together with your hot glue gun. Next glue the inner ring of the wreath, making sure to glue each intersection where one heart touches another heart.

Finish up with a ribbon for hanging, and you’ve got yourself a pretty new Valentine’s Day decoration to display! Fast, stylish and easy to make – now that’s my kind of crafting!

These adorable owl valentines cards are sure to be a huge hit with kids of all ages!

Using graphic design software, I created a 4″ x 5″ valentine card which allowed me to print four cards on to a single sheet of cardstock.  The background papers are from the Mod Owls Paper Pack which coordinate perfectly with the Mod Owls. To finish off the look, I picked up a pack of crazy straws from the local dollar store to use as the “branch” for my owls.

Super easy and totally cute!

There are tons of great papers to use as backgrounds and several differet styles of owls to choose from as well. Go choose a few of your favorite combinations and start creating! I love the polka dots on these Funky Owls!

After the holiday decorations have been put away, my mantle always looks a little boring and colorless. This year I decided to add a little color with a glittery family monogram (on Pastel Chevron paper) and some paper “snowballs” made with strips of paper from the Powder Blue Paper Pack. For the framed monogram art I simply printed an initial from one of my favorite fonts, traced it onto the chevron paper and used a paintbrush to apply  a thin layer of glue and finished up with a dusting of ultra fine glitter.

I decided to stick with the blue and white color scheme when I created my paper balls, but I had a tough time deciding which papers to use since there are so many great digital paper products to choose from! I cut strips in varying widths and lengths to create the different sized balls, but you’ll want to use just one uniform length and width for each individual ball. Join the ends of the strips together with brads and fan the strips out to finish. Couldn’t be easier!

These would also look great in a big bowl on your dining room table or in your living room!

This sweet little scalloped ball ornament, made with paper from the Funky Owls Paper Pack, is so quick and easy to make that you’ll want to whip up a bunch to hang from your tree and top all of your holiday packages!

Start by cutting eight scalloped circles – it’s handy to have a large paper punch or craft cutter; however, an Xacto knife or scissors also work just as well!

Fold all of the circles in half.

Join two circles by gluing one half of each circle together.

Continue gluing all of your circles together, forming them into a sphere shape as you go along.

Before gluing the last set of circles together, insert a length of twine or ribbon for hanging.

You can even add a bit of glitter for an extra dash of holiday sparkle!

Materials Needed:

• Wooden disks (often labeled as wooden nickels) – mine were 1.5″ and came in a set of 22
• Mod Podge
• Paintbrush
• Circle punch or scissors
• Your favorite Print Candee images – I’m using the Forest Friends 2″ circles in bright colors for the matching pairs and Chevron Spring paper for the back side

The first step is to print out your image circles and the patterned paper that you’ll  be using for the back side of your disks. Scaling my prints down to 75% ensured that the 2″ circles would fit my 1.5″ wooden disks. Next, punch out all of the circles with your circle punch (or use scissors to cut them out). Using the paintbrush, apply a light coat of Mod Podge directly to your disks, and then attach the patterned paper circles. Be sure to smooth the paper out and press down along the edges to avoid wrinkling and air bubbles. Allow to dry completely (at least 30-45 minutes). Seal with an additional coat of Mod Podge.

When the first side is dry you can apply the image circles in the same way. Make sure to allow the Mod Podge to dry completely between coats.

Every year my family and I create a “Thankful Tree” to share all of the things that we are grateful for. It has become such a treasured part of our daily routine as we sit around and talk about the things we were thankful for that day. Last year’s tree was a kraft paper silhouette that hung flat against our wall, so this year we decided to change things up by creating an actual tree shape from some fallen branches in our backyard. I bound the branches together with some colorful yarn and placed the entire bundle into a tall glass hurricaine vase.

I chose some of my favorite Print Candee papers in autumn colors and cut out an assortment of different leaf shapes (you can do this with scissors, an Xacto knife or a die cut machine). You can choose to make a variety of leaf shapes like I did or just keep it simple by sticking to one basic shape. Every evening each member of my family chooses one or two things that we are especially grateful for, and we write those things on our leaves and hang them upon our thankful tree. It may look a little sparse right now as the month is just beginning, but by the time Thanksgiving arrives our tree will be packed full of reminders of all the wonderful blessings we have in our lives.

Be sure to keep a pile of extra leaves handy so that you’ll always be able to add your new gratitude at a moment’s notice!

Papers Used: Aqua Blooms, Primary Polka Dots, Primary Stripes, Mod Dots, Owlicious (Happy Colors), and Chevron (Bright Colors).

The invitations were also created using the Romantic Flourish Paper Pack. I chose a flowing font in Illustrator and typed all the information.

I upcycled a couple of cans and covered them in the same paper. These were used for the order in which the photo sessions would flow, and the wine order.

Ready for the hop? First up is the fabulous Jennifer Wills.

This paper photo frame is incredibly easy to make, but it’s sure to add a lot of great style to your home decor! 1) Start by printing two copies of your favorite Print Candee digital papers (I used the Retro Fun Paper Pack) and trimming the sheets to 7″x7″  2) Set one sheet aside for now, and fold the other sheet in half diagonally.

3) Fold the paper in half diagonally once more.  4) Unfold your paper so that it is flat again, and fold the corner so that it touches the center guide lines.  5) Repeat for all four corners.  6) Unfold your paper once more.

7) Using the inset square fold lines as your guide, fold each corner so that the tip touches the edge of the square.  Fold again along the square lines so that the corners are hidden.  9) Make sure that your edges line up!  10) Flip your square over and fold each corner in approximately 1″

Ta da! You’re finished with the frame part…now let’s make the stand! Grab your second sheet of paper…

11) Fold your sheet of paper in half and then unfold it.  12) Fold the edges so that they meet at the center fold line you just created.  13) Fold the short ends in approximately 3/4″ on each side.  14) Fold your paper in half so that the folded edges are hidden inside.

15) Tuck the folded edges of the stand flaps into the folded corners on the back of the photo frame. Secure with a little dot of glue if needed. Slip your 3″x3″ photo into the frame by gently sliding it underneath the folded edges at the front of the frame. Easy peasy and incredibly versatile! You can quickly and easily make these in all sorts of different patterns and color palettes to match every room in your house or even to coordinate with your holiday decor!
